Shopping from JD.com like a local is really straightforward. Unlike Taobao, for JD when you visit www.jd.com you immediately have access to the local JD.com site.

 

There is however a banner on top of the menu bar (as can be seen in the screenshot on the left) which reads 'Shopping from Overseas? Please visit EN.JD.COM'.

We see no point in visiting it because again JD.com's English site (EN.JD.COM) only offers a small fraction of the products available on JD.com

There is absolutely no need for you to confine your product search to the limited selection offered by JD's English site, as there is far far more variety on JD.com itself.
